The hobbits we’re born from strange beginnings. During the first great orc invasion in the second age the meoalfr and the dwarves fought side by side to fight off the horde. This brought the two races together and naturally bonds and relationships formed from this. After the war a group of them fled south into the land which would now be known as Aurelia knowing that the couples wouldn’t be accepted in the elven heartlands or the dwarven holds.

 

Over time the mix led to a sub-race of people now known as hobbits. They take after the dwarves more than anything. They are short in stature, live underground and  have large appetites but also have slightly pointed ears, a love for pipe weed and other plant based “medicines” and love being around nature. A true mix of the two races.
