The snow elves are descendants of a group of Meoalfr (Wise Elves) sent to north to build an outpost after the end of the Nord war in the first age. The severe cold and lack of their connection with the great forest spirit Gaia has warped them over the millennia. They have a pale complexion, dark eyes and white hair. As a race they are known for their incredible fighting skills on ice and high within frosty mountains. Their armor and architecture is unique.
They follow a dark religion that has links to dark magic and necromancy. And has a heavy emphasis on blood sacrifice. The priests always have a piece of blue crystal at the altar surrounded by Ice, Snow and Water, 3 of the 4 states that tie into their religion and culture. Ice is hard and symbolizes the masculine side, warrior & survivor. Snow is soft and symbolizes the feminine side, stealth and guile. Water symbolises flexibility and fluidity. Steam, which is not present at the altar is the 4th state. And is a symbol of death and the afterlife. Steam and blood is used in order to talk to the spirits.
